Text Quest - Portsmouth
TEXT QUEST (Portsmouth)
Please join us on 27th July when we will be competing in teams with a “text quest” around Portsmouth.
Enter as a team of up to 4 players, and you will receive clues via photos which will be sent as website links on your mobile, to lead you around the city and compete against other teams to win the “CII trophy”. Only once you’ve solved one clue, will the next be revealed.
We’ll start at Clarence Pier at 12:00 and while this quest has 31 clues, it can take up to 2 hours depending on the speed of the group. If you would like to discuss any accessibility issues, please get in touch with Vicki on vickic@wrightsure.com
The cost is normally £16 per team, but we’ve secured 50% off, so a team is only £8 for this event. That means if you have a team of 4 players, this will only cost you £2 per person!
Please note that you do not have to be a CII member to attend – the more the merrier!

Choose “Portsmouth-City by the Sea” and enter your team name. Please confirm this to vickic@wrightsure.com so she can add you to the CII Southampton group. Without doing this, we will not be able to keep track of your time so you won’t be entered into the competition!

At the end of the event, we’ll all meet at the last clue & be able to see everyone’s times to crown the winner – as a hint, we will be able to get some drinks there while we wait for the others to complete!
Having done similar quests, I can tell you it’s a fantastic way to get out for the day, explore bits of the city you never would’ve seen, and to have great fun with your team.
