Watch the London to Brighton car run

The ever popular London to Brighton veteran and vintage car run is taking place this year on Sunday 6 November and the Insurance Institute of Sussex is once again giving members the chance to view this event from a prime vantage point.

Why not join us at The Rose & Crown for a bacon or egg sandwich and a cup of tea or coffee as we watch these fine old cars wend their way through the picturesque village of Cuckfield - some cars may stop as their drivers break for some well-earned refreshment themselves and you may even catch sight of some of the celebrities who usually take part in the run!

With some 400 vehicles due to take part this year (all of which were built before 1906) this is sure to be a great morning out for anyone who has even a passing interest in these historic vehicles.

This event is free to members and their first guest. Additional guests are welcome to join us for a drink and a sandwich at a cost of £5 per person - you can also buy additional food and drink from the bar at any time.

Getting There
There is no parking available at the Rose and Crown, so it is recommended that you park in nearby streets or in the village car park, which is only a short walk away. Please make sure that you observe any special parking restrictions which may be in place on the day.

Please Note
Given the nature of this event, viewing will take place close to a busy road and access to the pub is via their small car park. As such, any children must be supervised by you at all times and the venue may not be suitable for wheelchair users, those with reduced mobility, etc.
