Bringing your best self to work
As a result of recent government advice, the CII has announced that all events planned during Q2 2020 should be postponed with immediate effect.
We hope to be able to reschedule this workshop later in the year and will contact members with full details once this has been arranged.

Do you understand who you are and what your reputation looks like?
What are the advantages of being "at your best" and how do you achieve this when needed?
To find out these and more about yourself, join us on Wednesday 22 April at the Council Chamber, Burgess Hill Town Council Offices, as Lizzy Modi takes us on a journey of self-exploration and insight.
To reserve your place, please use our online booking form by clicking on the Book Now button below.
Please note that light refreshments will be available from 6.00pm until the seminar starts promptly at 6.15pm.
Preparation before the event
In order to get the most from this session, please ask five people you know (these could be work colleagues or friends and family), for 2 or 3 examples of situations where they have seen you at your best.
As an example-
“When we were in the meeting last month and going round in circles about the priorities, Lizzy was very good at listening to everyone, seeing we were not getting anywhere and posing a different question which made everyone stop and think and change the direction. I can think of a number of times that Lizzy sees through the ‘chat’ and gets us to the challenge or answer quicker than it would have happened otherwise”.
You should bring these with you and they will be used during the session.
By the end of this event, you will be able to:
identity who you are, what you give to others around you and what your reputation looks like
identify the behaviour you show when at your best
understand the advantage of being at your best and how to achieve this
If travelling by car, the nearest car park is in Cyprus Road at the back of the Town Council Offices building on Crescent Way. Please note that Pay & Display charges apply until 6.00pm, but parking is free after this.
Burgess Hill train station is about 7 minutes' walk from the venue.

About our speaker
Lizzy is qualified to carry out Hogan psychometric tests and has been working within businesses over the past 5 years to change behaviours of people and teams.
She is passionate about helping people be the best they can be and, in the last 18 months, was very inspired from a leadership course she attended at Henley Business School on this particular subject.
Lizzy is currently president of the Insurance Institute of Sussex and has worked in the insurance sector for over 15 years. She recently set up her own business and enjoys show jumping with her horse at the weekends.
This demonstrates the quality of an event and that it meets CII member CPD scheme requirements.
1 hour's CPD can be claimed for this event if relevant to your learning and development needs.
It is recommended that you keep any evidence of the CPD activity you have completed and upload copies to the recording tool as the CII may ask to see this if your record is selected for review. Details of the scheme can be viewed online at www.cii.co.uk/cpd.
