The Insurance Museum has a modest collection of items that stretch back to the 1650s. Join Howard Benge, Director of the Insurance Museum, to investigate these items in detail, how they help to tell the story of insurance and what other items the Insurance Museum will be using when it establishes a physical museum.

Goals are ‘dreams with legs’ – they motivate us and drive us forward. Goal-setting shifts us from a negative problem-focused mindset into a positive mindset, and ‘where focus goes, energy flows’. This session draws on research from the worlds of psychology, neuroscience and coaching to explore the power of goals and how to structure them to get the results that we really want.

This session is designed to give you practical insight and understanding about workplace bribery and corruption, focusing on the UK Bribery Act 2010. It covers actions for compliance, risk mitigation, and the consequences of corrupt practices.

Northampton Insurance Institute are delighted to welcome Simon Batt Meng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering CEng FIMechEIt of Hawkins & Associates Forensic Scientists to present a technical lunchtime webinar on escapes of water and engineering failures, covering common causes, practical advice in handling claims and preserving evidence and providing case studies from his own experience.

Join us for this months Enabling Women's Careers Session. This month we will be exploring the return to routine. Now that the summer is over, what do you want the rest of the year to be like. Are there patterns you want to keep or new ones you want to adopt to set you up for a successful final quarter. This session will be live online on Zoom. It will not be recorded as we aim to create an environment as close to an in person session as possible which is safe space for members to express themselves, network and grow. These sessions are for all levels of PFS and CII and future topics will be established from member feedback within the group. The sessions are facilitated by Caroline who is a Certified Coach and NLP Trainer, however, these sessions are an exploration for all and so please bring your top tips to share with other members of the group and be open to explore and encourage each other. Please allow up to 90 minutes for this session and have your camera on to be able to interact with the group.
