Free ACII Training funded by the Worshipful Company of Insurers

Your Institute is delighted to offer free ACII training starting in October 2026 due to funding received from the Worshipful Company of Insurers. This initiative is the first of it's kind at ACII level and will allow members of participating institutes from all across the UK to benefit from 100% funded study support.

This programme offers members the opportunity to benefit from a FREE invaluable study course specifically designed to assist students in achieving qualifications through structured group learning. Funding of five subjects is available to each member accepted onto the course. Applications are welcome from members who have already passed one or more subjects and are now ready to complete ACII. We will allocate the funds until they are exhausted.

The training will be delivered by Adrian Toomey of Intuition Training. The first two modules are available for sign up now, with the next modules beginning in early 2027:

Unit                                                             Start date

960 Advanced claims                                  Monday 12th October 2026

By enrolling in this course, you will participate in group training sessions, which will provide you with additional support, helping you to reduce the amount of study time needed to master the coursework.

Supporting this initiative:

The Worshipful Company of Insurers have provided the funding to allow your institute to provide this training. the WCI is a Livery Company (trade association) promoting excellence in insurance and maintaining the ancient traditions of philanthropy and support of the Mayoralty and the City of London.

It brings together two key elements of the City of London: insurance, which is now the largest employer within the City, and the City Civic, in which Livery Companies have taken an active part for centuries. The Insurers Company gives insurance professionals the opportunity to meet, network and socialise, both formally and informally, with fellow professionals. Members of the Livery also have the opportunity to contribute to the profession and wider community through educational activities, participation in City life and tradition, and by supporting a wide range of charitable causes.

The Company’s Charitable Trust finances the Programme. The Trust is primarily concerned with the furtherance of education within the insurance industry, mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and making grants to a variety of charities, including those supporting ex-offenders and promoting social welfare in the poorest boroughs of London.

Please note: This event is a regional collaboration between the local institutes in the area. Your booking details will be shared with Aberdeen Institute of Insurance and Financial Planning, which is acting as the host institute for this event.
