It is a privilege to step into the role of President of the Insurance Institute of Bournemouth, and I am truly honoured to serve our local professional community over the coming year. Our institute has a long history of supporting, developing, and celebrating insurance and personal finance professionals in our local area and I am committed to building on the strong foundations laid by the past presidents.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Past President, Jana Langdown who worked tirelessly over the past two years. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment have strengthened our institute and created momentum that I am proud to carry forward.

As I look ahead to the year before us, I want to strengthen engagement across our membership — creating opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration. Whether you are newly qualified, mid‑career, or an experienced professional, I want every member to feel that the institute is a place where you belong, where your voice matters, and where you can grow.

A key priority for me will be championing the next generation. Our future depends on attracting, supporting, and inspiring young professionals, and I am passionate about creating pathways that help them thrive.
