Free In-person workshop - Mastering Mixed Assessment for CII Diploma Units

About the Session

This interactive and free presentation will guide candidates as they move to the next step in their CII Qualification journey. The Diploma subject units consist of two components – coursework and an online multiple-choice exam.
The step up from Certificate level can be quite daunting, especially with the coursework element. For some candidates, it is knowing where to start with a blank sheet of paper and turning it into a finished assignment which looks good to the CII.
Alison Cooper FCII will share her valuable experience as a past Senior CII examiner and marker. Over the years, she has devised an effective strategy to tackle coursework and the exam component within the allotted 18 months.

This in-person event is for Insurance professionals and CII members who are considering starting the Diploma qualification, and also for those already embarked on their Diploma studies.

We will have breakfast networking from 9:30 am to get everyone settled in before the presentation, which runs from 10 am to midday.

• See how to prepare for the multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam and be aware of the different types of MCQs used by the CII;
• Be guided as to how to deconstruct coursework questions;
• Be mindful of the hazards of coursework;
• Appreciate how to plan your written answers to maximise marks.
