2026 IIC&G GOLF DAY FOR GREAT WESTERN AIR AMBULANCE & WINSTON'S WISH CHARITY

As a past supporter, I wanted to let you know, IIC&G is pleased to confirm that its 9th Annual Charity Golf Day will go ahead on Thursday 25th June 2026 in aid of our charity partners, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) and Winstons Wish . The event will again be held at Brickhampton Golf Club in Churchdown.

The day will follow our usual format being coffee and bacon roll on arrival, practice balls for the driving range, 18 holes golf on the Brickhampton Spa Course followed by a luxury BBQ after your round. Please let me know the names of anyone with special dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or allergies.

Cost will be £71 per person. For Brickhampton FULL members only, there will be a reduced price of £42. Please indicate where you are a FULL member.  **I am pleased to say this cost includes a complimentary half way house offering  chocolate bars/flapjacks and soft drinks and alcohol**

Payment details will be sent on booking. To comply with contractual agreements of Brickhampton, any withdrawals within 7 days of the event will still be charged full cost.     

This is a charity event so is open to everyone ,friends and family. Good numbers and good company are what's important. Please spread the word. Full course golf experience is sought in order to make the day run as smoothly as possible.  Teams of 4 sought but we can pair individuals up no problem.  

There will again be nearest the pin and longest drive prizes this year and we will keep improving the competition taking into account genuine handicaps and your continued feedback. 

On the day there will be raffle ticket and mulligan packages available. All fundraising will be split equally between the 2 charities

All that you need to do at this stage is book places via the link or email me back a lead name in your group and likely team numbers and individual names if you have them.

Sponsorship and raffle prizes are the key to a much greater donation to charity so I am keen to get something from everyone this year.

Trolleys and buggies are available. The cost of the buggy is £35 for non Brickhampton members and £20 for members.  it is first come first serve (7 available) so if you want one please email me back and I will reserve it for you with the pro shop and then it is down to you to collect and pay on the day directly with the shop. 

I know some of you are already asking about overnight accommodation. Here is a link to many of the hotels/lodges near to Brickhampton. The site is secure so would be fine to leave cars overnight. If you want any advice on specific hotels let me know
