PFS breakfast session -”Bitcoin, Fools Gold?...”

Session Overview:
Bitcoin (BTC) is a decentralised digital currency that operates without the oversight of central banks or governments. Launched in January 2009 by an anonymous creator known as Satoshi Nakamoto, it was the first widely adopted cryptocurrency and serves as a peer-to-peer electronic payment system.
Transactions are recorded on a public, decentralized system called the blockchain, which ensures transparency and security. Bitcoin can be used to send money globally, make purchases, or as an investment, and its supply is limited to 21 million coins, which helps give it value.
