The Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow (IASG) is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for two of our most prestigious annual awards:
- The Young Professional of the Year Award - sponsored by WTW;
- The George Maxwell Award - sponsored by Intact Insurance.

These awards celebrate excellence, leadership, innovation, and professional achievement across the insurance and personal finance profession, recognising individuals who have made a meaningful impact within their organisations and the wider industry.
Submit Your Nomination
Nominations can be made by colleagues, employers, peers, or by the individuals themselves.
This is an opportunity to recognise the achievements, dedication, and positive influence of professionals who continue to raise standards across our industry.
The deadline for all nominations is 5pm Friday 16 October 2026.
Winners will be recognised at the IASG Annual Dinner, where they will each receive a £1,000 cash prize and the recognition of their peers across the profession.
