Despite not being one of the 9 protected characteristics under the Equality Act, people from lower socio-economic backgrounds experience bias, discrimination and significant inequality of opportunity. 

This session will explore the challenges relating to socio-economic backgrounds, and why this is important to consider in a work context.

We will look at the concept of Inclusive Leadership and the importance of creating inclusive environments.
