The Personal Finance Society Hants & Dorset and Surrey Regional Committees in association with the Insurance Institutes of Bournemouth, Guildford, Reading and Southampton have organised training for those members who are studying for and taking the R01 and R02 examinations.

Designed to help candidates feel more prepared for the exam, the content will cover the key areas of the syllabus and areas likely to be tested. There will also be a focus on exam technique.

The trainer is highly experienced and qualified in the subject matter, and as importantly, in how to deliver an effective and productive online interactive training session, ensuring all candidates are fully engaged and maximise the learning experience.

By the end of the event, delegates will have covered the key elements of the R01 syllabus; and will have been introduced to the exam format and adopting a suitable exam technique; including:

  • Characteristics of asset classes

  • Modern portfolio theory

  • Time value of money

  • Collective investments

  • Investment bond taxation

  • Investment principles

  • Performance

  • Exam technique

Cost: The cost of the days training will be £49 for PFS members and £59 for non-PFS members.
