Seeing Isn’t Believing: Deepfakes and Evidence in Insurance

Webinar Overview
Deepfakes are moving fast from novelty to real-world insurance risk. Manipulated documents, photos, video and voice evidence are already potentially affecting proposals, renewals and claims, challenging how insurers assess risk, validate evidence and make decisions.
In this one-hour webinar, we will examine what deepfakes are, how someone might produce a deepfake, examples of scams involving deepfakes, and some techniques for trying to identify deepfakes.
By the end of the session, you will be able to understand:
• what deepfakes are, their malevolent uses, and techniques for detecting them.
• how to implement a strategy to protect trust and strengthen controls throughout the insurance lifecycle.
