Ipswich CII Lockdown as told by Paul Sturges

This week we hear from council member, Paul Sturges.

"My children are all adults now and have either moved out of home or chose to isolate with their partners, so my wife and I have had the house all to ourselves for the last few months – total bliss! We have spent many hours doing all those chores that normally would just get put off – my garden has never looked better; I even managed to clean up my fishpond so it looks less like pea soup.

I own a vintage VW campervan so last weekend we were able to visit an old friend – we sat two meters apart in her garden and drank wine in the sunshine – and then slept off the alcohol overnight in Mabel (yes the VW has a name, they all do!).
