Resilient Leaders Group Coaching Programme

Are you a team leader looking to develop your skills and get the best out of your team?

Are you looking to progress into a leadership position and want some help to do so?

Your local council are excited to present to you a unique opportunity to join a coaching programme designed for existing and emerging leaders. The 5 session programme, delivered by Pam Cottman and Hannah Turner will take place over the course of four months and will help to build your resilience and equip you with skills to support your leadership roles in the future.

Over the course of 5 x 90 minute group coaching sessions, experienced coaches will guide you through each of the ‘Core 4’ areas of resilience, focusing on to how they relate to delegates and managing teams.

Learning Objectives:

This group coaching programme will support delegates to:

  • Develop an understanding of what resilience means and why it is important in the workplace, particularly for leaders

  • Explore and practise practical techniques for building resilience in the workplace, focusing particularly on managing teams through change, challenge and stress (and learning some coaching skills to help along the way)

  • Leave the programme with tools and tips that can be immediately applied in delegates' working lives (and beyond)

7th September 2021 - 9:30-11:00am

Session 1: Introduction and Values – an exploration of what is important to you both personally and professionally: the foundation of resilience

5th October 2021 - 9:30-11:00am

Session 2: Growth mindset – understanding the difference between a fixed and growth mindset and how we can change our own mindset: a vital tool when it comes to managing change, stress and challenge in the workplace

2nd November 2021 - 9:30-11:00am

Session 3: Confidence in mind and body – focusing on strengths and looking at how our inner voice, body and spoken/written language can affect our resilience - and how we can make positive changes

23rd November 2021 - 9:30-11:00am

Session 4: Self-care – exploring what self-care really looks like, and how to make it part of your daily life (yes, even at work)

14th December 2021 - 9:30-11:00am

Session 5: Reflection and next steps – reviewing and celebrating the learning over the previous sessions and making commitments to embed resilience practices

This course is limited to a group of 14 delegates and so please ensure that you book promptly by doing the following;

In addition, we ask that you include a short paragraph of support from your direct line manager as we would like to ensure that you will be allowed the time to commit fully to these sessions with your company's full support.

Speaker Profile: Pam Cottman

Pam Cottman is a resilience coach, trainer and speaker – and a mum of two boys. A former Assistant Headteacher and passionate believer in unlocking untapped potential, Pam spent 14 years working with students, staff, parents and governors to support the development of young people and her teams. She set up her own business in 2018 and is now an ICF accredited coach supporting individuals, schools and organisations to reach their potential by building resilience: a clear understanding of values and self-awareness; a growth mindset; confidence in mind and body; and the self-care tools to cope with change, challenge and stress.

Speaker Profile: Hannah Turner

Hannah brings passion and authenticity, sharing personal insight from her life and 20-year corporate career, developing from Apprentice to Head of HR. Hannah is an experienced international business leader who prides herself on her professional standards including Chartered Fellowship with CIPD, Coach Accreditation with ICF and current learning as a trainee Psychotherapist with UKCP. Hannah’s passion for developing people spans from those at the start of their career to senior leadership teams and board members. Hannah set up in private practice in 2019 to share her passion more broadly, helping individuals and teams to find their unique way to thrive. Hannah is certified in Insights Discovery and Lumina Spark psychometric tools.
