Everyday Menopause Champions: How Everyone Can Support at Work and Outside
Monday 19 October, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (UK time)
Jay Unwin
CPD

Menopause support shouldn't rest solely on those experiencing it, or on HR policy alone. This session moves beyond awareness to action - equipping every attendee, regardless of gender, role or personal experience, with the confidence and practical behaviours to become an active menopause champion: noticing, checking in, adjusting language, advocating for colleagues, and role-modelling openness both in the workplace and at home.
Session Objectives
By the end of this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Identify the everyday behaviours that make someone a genuine menopause ally, not just a bystander.
- Practise language and conversation openers for checking in with a colleague, friend or partner.
- Recognise their own sphere of influence - manager, peer, partner, friend - and commit to one specific champion action in each.
- Understand how small, consistent actions build a culture where menopause is normalised rather than hidden.
