Stepping Up for the Bubble Foundation
Our President Rachel Jefferson Completes the Steptember Challenge!
For those of us who spend so much of our working lives sitting at a desk, in the car or in front of clients, Rachel thought Steptember would be a great way to challenge herself to get moving while raising money for such an important cause.
So, in September, Rachel took on the Bubble Foundation’s Steptember Challenge: 300,000 steps in 30 days, the equivalent of 10,000 steps per day.

The Insurance Charity - School Essentials Grant
The Insurance Charity is offering School Essentials grants to help eligible families with the costs associated with their children’s education.
Awards are available to current and former insurance people in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands who receive means-tested benefits and have children attending primary or secondary school, or sixth-form college.

President's Message
On Monday 20th April 2026, the Insurance Institute of Newcastle held its Annual General Meeting, marking the start of the 2026/27 presidential term. I, Rachel Jefferson, was elected President, along with John Neill as Deputy President.
It is a real honour to take on the role of President and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity. Having been involved in volunteering with the PFS and CII for well over a decade, I would not be here without the support of so many of my colleagues and our members.
