WEBINAR: Brexit - What might happen
The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee are happy to announce that their next online CPD event will focus on Brexit; what might happen and the various uncertainties as we approach 31st December.
This webinar will be held on Thursday 5th November (11-12) and will be delivered by Suresh Weerahsinghe.
Suresh is the Head of EU and Brexit Public Policy in Aviva. Prior to joining Aviva in 2018 Suresh was a lawyer in central government for 12 years in the UK and previously in New Zealand, where he qualified. Most recently before Aviva, Suresh was at HM Treasury, advising on Brexit and was part of the UK negotiating team for the Brexit financial settlement. He previously was a member of the UK negotiating team on the “Economic Governance” strand of the David Cameron’s 2015/16 “re-negotiation” with the EU. His work as a government lawyer also includes the MiFID2 negotiations and time as a lawyer to the UK Attorney General.
