Flood Re is delivering a new era of more affordable insurance for householders who live in flood risk areas. The Scheme is a joint initiative between the UK insurance industry and the UK Government and a ‘world-first’ flood re-insurance scheme that enables insurers to offer competitive premiums and lower excesses to high flood risk homes across the UK.

  • know details of Flood Re’s performance in its first year of operations

  • be able to contribute to the thinking and policy development of Flood Re’s Transition Plan

  • know how customers can access the benefits of the Flood Re Scheme
