Ali Fisher, a business mentor in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, will walk us through the 5 stages of the recruitment process, giving us tips & tricks along the journey for embedding EDI into the process to strengthen your business culture & productivity.  This promises to be an enlightening & interactive session.

Speaker Bio

Ali Fisher – Sustainability & Diversity Business Mentor – Plans with Purpose

Ali founded Plans With Purpose in 2017 with a mission to put regeneration at the heart of business progress. Her personal purpose is to spark change that matters. Over the last 8 years, Ali has worked with a range of clients, big and small, profit and not-for-profit, to put sustainability, diversity & purpose at the heart of their progress. Ali’s day job is to act as a Sustainability & Diversity Business Mentor, supporting organisations to approach these complex & nuanced subjects more strategically, with step change ambitions for positive impact for people and planet. She runs regular learning workshops in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Doughnut Economics and Carbon Literacy.

Ali is a Founding Member of the award winning JEDI MATTERS Collective, championing DEI progress among SMEs & B Corps. Ali brings her passion for regeneration & inclusion to life as the Founder of The Creativity Bank Guildford, a supporter of Guildford Lions & member of Zero Carbon Guildford, Disability Challengers Business Club & sits on the Council of the Surrey Chambers of Commerce. She is also a volunteer for the LEAD Network UK (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity) and a mentor to Surrey care-leavers through Goal 17.

Ali donates 2-5% of all business project fees to charity and has donated over £17,000 to charity so far.
