Innovation, Competition & Consumer Behaviours: what can we learn from sparkling wines?

Following our successful visit and CPD seminar at a local vineyard in the spring, Jeff Heasman is back again at our usual Reading town centre venue for our pre-Christmas wine CPD seminar event!
About the seminar
When it comes to disruption, increased competition and changing consumer behaviours in the wine industry, champagne has experienced it all in recent years as new world and old-world wineries have begun to produce top quality wines to challenge the traditional producers. There are parallels with the insurance and financial services industries, which have also been experiencing similar trends in respect to the services and products we offer in light of changing consumer behaviours.
Through tasting 5 sparkling wines from different corners of the world, Jeff Heasman will draw on his expertise in wines and insurance to show what lessons we can learn in insurance and financial services when it comes to innovation and competition in the market.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify current innovation, competition and consumer trends in insurance and financial services.
- Understand the parallels with the world of sparkling wines and what we can learn.
- Implement a strategy to ensure products and services are aligned with current and future trends.
