Tuesday, 21 September 2021
10:00 am – 11:00 am (UK time)
    • Hayley Tink, Director and Founder, Lifesage Ltd

The event is part of our PFS Soft skills series, the three sessions have been carefully designed to work well together and we would highly recommend attending all of them to get the most from what they have to offer.

Advising clients while they are going through a life change is a key part of our role as a financial adviser. In this Foundation session we will explore research from psychology and personal development to equip you with an understanding of life transitions, the change cycle, and the particular challenges to our decision making that result when going through divorce, bereavement, and retirement. By the end of the session you be in a strong position to support not only clients but also colleagues and other associates in their own understanding about these key life transitions. This session provides the foundation for Lifesage Focus sessions which explore the key client life events individually in greater depth.

Learning Objectives:

The learning objectives of this session are:

  • Understand: The difference between Life changes and Life Transitions, the three stages of inner transition, and the Change Cycle
  • Explore: Bereavement - the five stages of grief and tips for assisting clients
