About our speaker:-


Susan Heaton-Wright is an impact, communications and speaking trainer for emerging leaders and the creator of the Superstar Communicator™ programme. She is an international speaker; the MD of award winning music company, Viva Live Music, podcaster and a former prize winning international opera singer.

She delivers seminars, workshops and individual training for many companies including Astra Zeneca, Shell, Microsoft, AXA and Quintiles. As a CPD accredited speaker, she regularly delivers speeches and seminars to lawyers, accountants and finance professionals. She is regularly interviewed on BBC Radio Five Live; BBC2, local radios and international podcasts. Susan has contributed to articles in Forbes, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Thrive Global, The Scotsman and trade publications. In 2020, she was named as an #ialso 100 top inspirational female entrepreneurs in UK.

Susan is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, The Royal Society of Arts and the Incorporated Society of Musicians. She leads a project of musicians in Greece annually, to deliver music workshops to refugees in Athens as part of the ‘Love without Borders’

Overview:-

Susan shares her extensive experience and knowledge of using the voice, presence, knowing your audience, content and body language to ensure attendees are noticed, and make an impact when they communicate.
This event is interactive with the audience participating and trying out new skills. Attendees always take away plenty of new skills to try at work.


Programme:-

9.15 Everyone to join the webex and in the chat box to state their name, company and where they are based (it’s quite clear when you join). Please ensure microphones are muted.

9.30 Introduction by Gavin Potter, President of the Luton & Herts institute.

9.35 Foreword by Susan Heaton-Wright before event commences. There are five sections but will be a comfort break and At the end of each section there will be a Q & A session where we'd ask for questions via the chat box

11.30 Event ends

Once this event ends, people are welcome to remain on the webex as Susan will go through some points to remember if you're feeling a bit isolated given most of us are working from home and some may not be used to this - a bit of care from the L & H CII and Susan!!!
