The Insurance Institute of Northampton Annual Dinner

The Insurance Institute of Northampton is very pleased to announce a change in venue for this year’s annual dinner.

It will be held at The Marriott Hotel Northampton on Friday 2nd October 2015.

The Event

Our intentions are for you to have an enjoyable evening whilst our Guest Speaker holds your attention with his comical stories. If you have a sense of humour then you are in for a treat, Gerry Loughney is extremely well known as a leading business guru. After a hugely distinguished career in financial services, he has been an after dinner speaker for many years. He shines a mischievous light on the inanities and pure daftness of big business and the people who seem to make it tick. He is a life long supporter of West Brom, Welsh rugby and other lost causes and is a very entertaining speaker who, as an experienced loss adjuster, always leaves people wanting more and with only the vaguest recollection of what he’s been talking about.

After the dinner, you can dance the night away to music provided by our live band.

Last year we raised £1500 for Narcolepsy UK and The Insurance Charities. This year we will be focussing our fundraising on the Insurance Charities and we would like to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause.

The dress code for the event is black tie and partners are welcome.

Sponsorship

Due to the costs involved in holding the dinner and so as to ensure ticket prices remain at a reasonable level, we actively seek sponsorship each year from businesses within the Institute and associated businesses that work alongside the insurance industry.

This year we are looking for sponsorship packages of £500 included with which will be two tickets for the dinner along with reference to sponsorship being included within the dinner menu programme, including a display of your business logo. We would welcome your support of this prestigious annual event and in this respect if you are able to assist as a sponsor please can you let us know.

In addition to the two free tickets that come with the sponsorship package you are also welcome to purchase additional tickets for other of your colleagues to attend. These will be priced at £45 per ticket with tables at the dinner accommodating 10 people.
