When you are working & facing the demands of professional studies, do you wonder where to start? What does the IF1 subject unit entail?

IF1 – who is it for?

Employees of brokers, loss adjusters & insurers working in an administrative, technical, operational, or other support role. The CII Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification, which helps to develop a foundation knowledge of insurance, the insurance market & the legal principles of insurance.

IF1 – exam format:

• 2 hour exam
• 100 multiple choice questions
• 70% nominal pass mark

Learning objectives:

• To introduce study/exam techniques required for IF1;
• How to tune into the CII wavelength for the multiple choice exam;
• To highlight some of the key areas of the IF1 exam syllabus;
• To demonstrate a strategy to master IF1 & to help to avoid its potential pitfalls.

Participants will need to enroll directly with the CII to pay for their own study texts and exam entry for IF1.

Successful completion of IF1 counts towards the Certificate in Insurance – Cert CII, which requires a total of 40 credits, and can also be used towards Dip CII or ACII qualifications.
