This webinar is intended to increase your awareness, build knowledge, and give you practical skills to support a more inclusive workplace and your becoming an ally in and out of the office.

The session will explore the link between inclusion, equity, and allyship and describe the importance of allyship in the workplace. We will explore practical ways allies behave in the workplace, show you how to identify opportunities to be an ally as well as discuss some misconceptions about allyship. The session concludes with some final takeaways and a call to action to support the development of an inclusive culture in the insurance and financial services sectors.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, you will:

  • understand the difference between equity and equality

  • have an awareness of privilege and how to use privilege to promote equity

  • know how to call in and call out, be equipped to speak up against biases and non-inclusive behaviours

  • have practised acting as an ally, exploring different types of allyship through a case study

  • have developed an allyship action to take forwards

About our Speaker
Dawn has delivered Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) learning interventions to varied industries, audiences and organisations. She also delivers inclusive coaching and consulting to leaders and HR teams with a particular focus on coaching those from underrepresented backgrounds. Dawn uses emotional intelligence, strengths and positive psychology within her facilitating and coaching approach, connecting with delegates and supporting them in their growth.

Dawn had over 20 years' experience as a senior HR, Talent and Leadership development professional predominantly within global Financial Services.

Dawn has worked with a range of Clear Company clients including Bentley Motors, Chaucer Insurance, Odgers Berndtson as well as Balfour Beatty, Aecom and Atkins, delivering tailored and impactful programmes.
