In this session we will cover the power of compound interest and growth, demonstrate how this differs from straight line interest and why it is valuable when saving over the medium to long term. We will also review some of the saving options open to you.

  • Understanding how inflation can affect savings, investments, and budget

SPEAKER BIO

John-Paul is a Financial Planner with over 24 years’ experience and has worked for Abbey National, Barclays and Prudential. He is currently a Chartered Financial Planner with PS Aspire, part of the Punter Southall group of companies, dealing with private clients. John-Paul is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and the current Educational Outreach Ambassador for the Thames Valley region.
