About Us

What is Next Gen?

Southampton CII Next Gen is a group for institute members who are aged 35 or under. We are here to help you develop your professional and social networks with likeminded individuals from the local region. It’s perfect for helping you find your feet if you are new to the industry, or the area in general.

What’s involved?

We run CPD and social events tailored to meet the needs of young professionals just like you. These are held throughout the year and are usually outside of working hours, so you don’t have to worry about negotiating time out with the boss.

How can I get involved?

We’d love to have you along to one of our events! We announce all of our goings on primarily through the CII’s mailshot system. If you aren’t already receiving our emails, make sure that you have your data protection preferences set to receive electronic communications from your local institute. You might also want to check that you have your local institute set to Southampton, especially if you have joined us from another region.
