Practical Tools for Anxiety, stress and burnout

PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR ANXIETY, STRESS AND BURNOUT
Session Outline:
This highly solutions-focussed session helps participants understand the continuum from everyday stress through to anxiety and burnout, and what that can look like in real working lives.
The webinar combines psychoeducation with practical tools, focusing on what individuals, managers and organisations can do to reduce psychosocial risks and build sustainable performance, rather than “coping through” exhaustion.
Participants will explore evidence-based strategies such as workload and boundary management, micro-breaks, cognitive and behavioural techniques, and supportive conversations that can be implemented immediately.
The session will highlight key psychosocial hazards (such as excessive workload, conflicting demands and lack of control) and showcasing realistic steps to address them through culture, leadership and job design.
By the end of this webinar, participants should be able to:
Distinguish between normal stress, problematic anxiety and burnout, and recognise early warning signs in oneself and others
Apply practical, evidence-based tools to manage anxiety and stress day to day
Explore realistic conversations and adjustments that managers and colleagues can use to reduce burnout risk and support sustainable performance
Identify key psychosocial hazards and co-creating actions to address workload, control, support and culture in participants’ own workplaces
