NewGen Networking CPD Event

Time: Session begins 16:00 finishes 19:00 – a light buffet will be provided

Overview: This event is ideal for young or inexperienced networkers who want to become more confident and effective in raising their profile and meeting new contacts. There will be an opportunity to put skills into practice at the end of the evening.

Objectives: At the end of this event, delegates will be able to :

• Network with a purpose

• Get started in a room when they don’t know anybody

• Get in and out of conversations

• Have an effective networking conversation

• Demonstrate credibility using conversational stories

• Follow up professionally

• Have a basic understanding of the benefits and pitfalls of social media to maximise networking opportunities
