Successful Chartered and Diploma Exam Preparation

Overview:

Aimed at those in financial services, currently studying or planning to study new CII papers as part of their career development, maintaining competency and/or progression towards Chartered status.

The talk will include 2 main sessions, the first being the qualification options relating to Diploma (R0 and J exams) and Advanced Diploma units (AF) leading to Chartered. The second session will be about effective exam preparation, study and revision.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this event, the delegate will be able to identify:

  • The route to Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning R01-6 – what is involved – which exams, study time and exam types.
  • The route to Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Chartered – what is involved – which exams, study time and exam types. What does Chartered mean? Is Chartered worth your while? Routes to Chartered.
  • An understanding of Coursework units – AF6, AF8 and beyond.
  • Effective ways to plan for your own exam; including effective study, exam practice and where to find more information.

Speaker biography:

Catriona Standingford and Brand Financial Training provide learning resources to both individuals and businesses to assist in passing CII exams.

Their resources aid candidates in their revision and study by helping pin-point areas where knowledge and understanding need more work, helping to understand how to complete complex calculations in a short timescale and giving candidates the resources they need to enable them to enter the exam with confidence.
