EXAM REVISION TIPS AND TECHNIQUE SESSION

IIC&G is pleased to announce a lunchtime workshop of revision techniques for students studying Certificate and Diploma level modules

The workshop will be presented by Linda Prewitt FCII. Linda has 30 years industry experience initially with Ecclesiastical as a Commercial Underwriter and then as a Senior Lecturer at the University Of Gloucestershire before setting up her own training company.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop session participants will know

• How to check the structure of the examinations they are planning to take in the weeks/months ahead
• How to use the CII’s resources to gain an understanding of topics within each module which are most likely to be tested in the examination
• The value and benefit of using specimen examination papers as part of their revision
• Additional sources of practice/sample questions which they can use as part of the revision process

By the end of the session, participants will also understand:

• Some of the main strategies which can be used for revision
• Some of the tools to make revision manageable
• How best to use the time left between now and the exam

** Please can you bring your CII textbook if you have already starting studying for a module**

A buffet and light refreshments will be available from 12pm. Free on site parking is available at Gloucester Rugby Club and the club has full disabled access.
