Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) regulation is on the rise globally with many new requirements for companies to report on how they are managing ESG risks, and what actions they are taking to prevent negative impacts on the environment, improve Social Responsibility and operate ethically.

The insurance industry finds itself in a unique position as it already has the ESG fundamentals of managing risks and robust governance at its core, but in many ways the sector (along with others) is having to play catch up to ESG expectations.

Companies are needing to review their existing strategies, policies and procedures to prepare not only for incoming regulation, but also the impact of growing stakeholder awareness around ESG.

In this session we will explore some of the biggest ESG challenges and opportunities facing the industry, and take a look at the potential ways to manage and tackle them
