Annual Charity Golf Day with Wine Tasting

What a day! Yesterday we held our first Annual Charity Golf Day with Wine Tasting at Aldenham Golf and Country Club in aid of Alzheimer's Society. A good day was had by all with some cracking golf played. The rain held off until the last few holes with only a couple of groups sadly getting wet! Some of the lucky golfers were greeted by the friendly fox between holes 2 and 6 and by the sounds of it, it managed to get a snack or two off the golfers. Once the rounds were finished a hot lunch was provided with a raffle and presentation for the following winners: Single Winner - Damian Ward ACII - 43 points Team Winner - Momentum Broker Solutions - 100 points Nearest the Pin - Mick Hunter Longest Drive - Damian Ward ACII Congratulations again! The presentation was followed by a very entertaining wine tasting session presented by Jeff Heasman from Insurance Upskill and Sip and Flourish - "To Pair or not to Pair?". We had an inquisitive audience asking some great questions but I think we will all agree the wine was superb! Our President Rachel Karn CMgr MCMI Cert CII and Deputy President Abbie Mansfield Cert CII were out on course capturing memories of the day as well as getting lost! The total amount raised for the Alzheimer's Society was £1,172 which is simply fantastic!
