President's Message

“Hello and welcome to the Insurance Institute of Luton and Hertfordshire.

I’m delighted to take on the role of President for our local Chartered Insurance Institute. Our institute continues to grow and evolve, and I’m looking forward to building on our strong foundations with a renewed focus on connection, career development, and inclusion.

This year, a key priority for me is encouraging the next generation of insurance professionals. I’ll be working closely with the CII to expand our outreach in schools and colleges, strengthen our presence at careers fairs, and support apprenticeships as a growing and accessible route into the profession. We want to ensure that both employers and apprentices feel supported with the right guidance, resources, and opportunities.

Our institute continues to offer a strong mix of CPD events, networking opportunities, and social gatherings — all designed to help you get the most from your membership. Whether you’re just starting out or well established in your career, we aim to support you with professional development, community, and connection.

We are also delighted to welcome many new members to our institute and encourage you to get involved — whether that’s by attending events, joining the council, or simply reaching out to say hello. This is your institute, and we value your voice and input.
