Our First F2F Event of 2024! Our Half Day Conference at IWM Duxford
9 February 2024Our President Rachel Karn welcomed guests and speakers to a truly wonderful venue and CPD packed morning. We were delighted that Ashleigh Picton from the CII also attended to discuss CII membership and qualifications with our members. The morning started with a very informative and interesting talk from Robin Milan, Senior Vice President - Aviation at Marsh. How could we not include Aviation insurance at Duxford! Susan Heaton-Wright then transformed the room by giving us exercises in engaging with strangers, developing rapport and connection. Then tips on how to maintain connection with people you meet at events - great fun! Last but certainly not least, Diane Jenkins presented a very thought provoking talk on Parametric Insurance and how this sector is evolving. To finish the morning, we all had a delightful lunch and not to mention access to this amazing museum. A really fantastic morning learning, connecting and taking in the sights of Duxford. We are in the process of arranging a second conference for September - so watch this space! We hope you can join us!
