Insurance Ambassadors Initiative

Insurance Ambassadors Initiative Launches to Support Careers Outreach Activity As part of our ongoing work to promote insurance as a career choice, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new Insurance Ambassadors Initiative, alongside an increased presence at local careers fairs and education events. The initiative has been developed to help raise awareness of the breadth of opportunities available across the insurance profession and to provide young people with greater insight into the sector before making decisions about further education, apprenticeships and employment. The programme will see insurance professionals volunteer their time to engage with students through careers events, school visits and industry outreach activities. A key objective is to provide students with direct access to people working in the industry, offering practical information about career pathways, qualifications, day-to-day roles and progression opportunities. The programme also aims to showcase the range of disciplines within insurance, including risk management, claims, underwriting, technology, data, customer service and sustainability. The launch supports wider efforts to strengthen the future talent pipeline for the profession by increasing engagement with schools, colleges and sixth forms and helping young people better understand the role insurance plays in supporting businesses, communities and economic growth. We look forward to meeting students, educators and careers advisers at upcoming events and working with our ambassadors to encourage more young people to consider insurance as a long-term career option.
