Overview:-

A PROD in the right direction...

The PROD directive within MIFID II once again clearly stipulates the requirements for advisers on the suitability front.
A recent survey suggests that 60% of advisers have yet to read it!!
The session will look at suitability from a number of angles, covering Attitude to Risk tools, funds research, governance and oversight and portfolio construction.
Outcome is perhaps the key word to all of this........
Outsourcing does not abrogate responsibility and the session will focus not only on the regulatory requirements but also on accepted best practice.

Learning Outcomes

By attending this event, delegates will be able to:

• provide a sound overview of the PROD requirements and how to fulfil the same;
• bridge the gap between Attitude to Risk and product suitability;
• apply the process to desired consumer 'outcomes;'
• ensure effective governance and oversight.
