Guided Tour around Lloyd's of London
 
Come and join us, your local Institute for a guided tour by a Lloyd's Tour Manager, around the famous Lloyd's Building.

We meet in the Main Reception at Lloyd's, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA at 2:00pm on 25th September 2025.
 
This is a unique opportunity to explore this striking post-modern building, which is not open to the general public, and see its famous underwriting floor. The tour will help you:

• Understand Lloyd's unique and colourful past, from its early days in Edward Lloyd's coffee house, to the historical events that changed the face of Lloyd's forever.
• Recognise how Lloyd's the Corporation and Lloyd's Market work together; the chain of security and participants in the market.
• Know how risk is placed, the type of things that Lloyd's insure and what makes Lloyd's such an attractive place to do business.

Please make sure you bring either a passport, photocard drivers licence or another form of photocard ID with you. Note that there is a dress code of business attire or business casual.
