Webinar: Supporting customers through the cost-of-living crisis
Under the FCA’s Consumer Duty, firms will be required to ensure they are delivering good consumer outcomes, and this session will explore regulatory expectations arising from recent FCA communications. The Consumer Duty rules come into force next July, to help deliver good outcomes for customers. Against this backdrop firms are facing challenges, including many small and medium sized enterprises (‘SMEs’), such as higher costs (energy costs) and staffing issues.

Firms will be looking at how they communicate with customers, including checking, understanding and supporting their customers as part of their work to meet the Consumer Duty requirements. FCA Consumer Duty and Product Governance update for GI
The FCA want to see a higher level of consumer protection in retail financial markets, where firms compete vigorously in the interests of consumers and they wish to drive a healthy and successful financial services system in which firms can thrive and consumers can make informed choices about financial products and services. They consider that firms are not consistently and sufficiently prioritising good consumer outcomes and this causes consumer harm and erodes consumer trust. With final rules published on 27 July 2022 this talk will update you as to what now will be needed.

Contract Conditions & Liability: The Broker's Responsibility
Many policyholders sign contracts without realising they are potentially exposing themselves to liabilities that are not covered by their insurances.
