Uncorking the Future: what the wine industry can teach us about interge

The Insurance Institute of Southampton are focusing on Leadership for the Next Generation 

We are hosting an afternoon of 2 CPD events with Networking for the next generation of insurance professionals, this will be followed by an ever popular Wine Tasting CPD event all presented by Jeff Heasman from Insurance Upskill.

In the evening the Wine Tasting event with Nibbles is entitled Uncorking the Future: what the wine industry can teach us about intergenerational cohesion in the workplace

The relationship between UK wine consumer trends and intergenerational dynamics in insurance and financial services can highlight parallels in understanding shifting preferences, values, and behaviours across generations. Through tasting 5 different wines we will learn about issues from adapting to preferences, to sustainability as a shared value, through to leveraging technology and also generational perceptions.
This is a fun and interactive session that will explore intergenerational cohesion as one of the most important and controversial issues currently facing the insurance and financial services industry.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
➢ identify the current barriers to intergenerational cohesion.
➢ explain how the trends in the wine industry can provide us with lessons for the insurance and financial services industry.
➢ implement a strategy to create better intergenerational cohesion in the workplace.
