Webinar - Cognitive Flexibility: an essential skill for the 4th industrial revolution

Wednesday, 08 April 2020
9:30 am – 10:30 am (UK time)
    • Jeff Heasman, Jeff Heasman Training & Consulting

Cognitive flexibility is our ability to shift our thinking in the face of setbacks, mistakes or when new information comes to light. It is a skill that the World Economic Forum has listed in the top ten skills that people will need if they are to thrive in the so-called 4th industrial revolution. All too often we take the easy route when faced with challenges but it is not often the best route for you, your
colleagues or your clients. This session will teach you how to develop your cognitive flexibility in a fast-paced and challenging working environment and enable you to move away from one-dimensional thinking.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • identify the importance of cognitive flexibility as a skill in the workplace.
  • explain the typical barriers to cognitive flexibility and how to overcome these.
  • implement a strategy to develop cognitive flexibility in your day to day tasks.
