President's Message

At our recent AGM, I was both delighted and honoured to be re-elected as President of the Insurance Institute of Cardiff for a second term of office.

Looking back over the first 12 months of my presidency, I can honestly say it has been a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. From the outset, my term has been centred around a clear and simple theme; Improve engagement and bringing people together. This focus has shaped everything we have done as a committee over the past year and has proven to be both meaningful and impactful for our local institute. Our theme will remain consistent throughout my entire presidency.

The past year has been a fantastic one, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a committee for our members. We have delivered a strong programme of CPD sessions, launched our very first Future Leaders Programme (FLP), welcomed new committee members, appointed new officers, and strengthened the team committed to serving our members.

Improved communication and connection, in the successful launch of our quarterly members bulletin, alongside record attendance to our social events that brought members together in new and engaging ways.
