Insurance Charities course now available - ‘Understanding Dementia’

209,600 people will develop dementia this year, that’s one every three minutes.
That is why it is more important now than ever before to understand dementia. The Insurance Charities are really pleased to be able to offer the online learning course ‘Understanding Dementia’ to enhance your understanding of dementia and how the brain is affected by the condition.
The free course will explore how dementia is diagnosed, the risk factors for developing dementia, and how the symptoms of dementia can affect the day-to-day life of the person and those around them.
