The first Local Matters podcast is now live!

Regional Membership Manager Matt Ward, Regional Membership Manager talks with Danielle Ashmore, President of the Insurance Institute of Coventry, Sarah Hughes, Communications Officer for the Insurance Institute of Cardiff and Kath Harvey, President of the Insurance Institute of Aberdeen, to discuss among over things their plans to engage their membership in 2025.

Their discussion looked at what inspired them to become involved with volunteering for their institute, what makes them continue to do so, what they enjoyed most about it, how they currently engage their members and their plans for 2025.

A common theme was that they continue to volunteer because they want to give something back to the next generation and help promote the career paths within the financial industry.

Listen to the whole podcast on The Journal channel via the link below, but if it’s made you think about becoming a volunteer visit Find My Local Institute to get involved now.
